Today I’ll be teaching you how to make a delicious pot roast in an instant pot. It’s well seasoned, super flavorful, and extremely tender.
Place a two to three pound chuck roast on a cutting board, season with your seasoning mix, and place in your instant pot. Cook for one minute on each side.
Once the chuck roast has finished cooking, add 1 tablespoon of butter to the pan, then saute the onions, celery, and garlic for 3 to 4 minutes. Add 2 cups of beef broth, 1 4 cup of Worcestershire sauce, 1 cup of red wine, and 1 sprig of rosemary.
After you’ve added your potatoes and carrots to your instant pot, close the lid and press cancel. After 20 minutes, your pot roast should be finished cooking, and you can serve it with a thick gravy.
The pot roast was delicious and the meat fell off the bone easily. The carrots and potatoes went well with the pot roast.
This is pot roast over some mashed potatoes, totally recommend eating it with some mashed potatoes.
